Keeping Babies Safe (KBS) is a national nonprofit organization that provides education, assistance, advocacy and leadership in the development of safer children’s products and practices. Contributions are 100% tax deductible; you can make yours here.
This effort also necessitates our asking for nominal donations from our “Be Smart About Safe Sleep”™ corporate sponsors—however, it is important to know that KBS does not endorse any product. We appreciate your understanding as we seek the resources required to keep this great cause dynamic and effective.
KBS is a registered 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization. KBS follows the highest moral standards of financial accountability and stewardship and does its best to ensure maximum impact for your financial donations. All of KBS’ financial documents are produced by a Certified Public Accountant. KBS follows all IRS regulations for non-profit organizations. The organization has a written conflict of interest policy and a code of ethics. Financial transparency is important to the organization and KBS makes its financial documents available to the public.

KBS benefits from the donation of many hours of volunteer time from members of its board of directors, who are very active in the daily operations of the organization. Joyce Davis, President, donated her time to run the organization full-time from the time of its founding in 2006 until July 2014, when she began to accept a modest salary. KBS is dedicated to keeping overhead administrative costs low and running a cost-efficient organization.
The benefits and possibilities created by being personally accountable are endless.
